Due to the nature of this business, we prefer not to list our rates online. If you would like
someone to get back to you about pricing information, please fill out the form on the
Contact Us page and you will be contacted as soon as possible. The rates we quote
are based on several factors; distance, number of events you are booking, any
promotions we may be running and the date of the event. 

**** What You Can Expect ****

Professional Disc Jockeys
    Most shows that Big City Music puts on are run by either Derrick Miller or David Etier.
    At almost every show we play, we have two DJ's, this insures that one of us will always
    be ready to take requests, work with the guests,  and run the equipment while the other DJ is
    talking to the crowd or leading a group activity.

Crowd Interaction
   If you are expecting to find DJ's that simply sit behind their table and play music, 
    we probably are not what you are looking for, but we will do that if requested.
    However if you are looking for DJ's to go out of their way to get your guests involved 
    and  have a good time, you've come to the right place.  
    We look forward to every event that we play, it's our chance
    to get out and interact with people, make them feel comfortable having a good time,
    and encourage them to party.

Professional Equipment
   All of Big City Music's equipment is professional grade and has proven itself under the
    worst conditions time and time again.  We are proud to display the Bose and High End
    Systems logos because they are leaders in sound and intelligent lighting effects. 

Intelligent Lighting
    Other DJ's claim to use intelligent lighting, or have special effects lighting.  This is true,
    but what makes Big City Music different is that we have spent the time and money to
    design an amazing light show.  Our Trackspot intelligent lights can direct a beam of light
    virtually anywhere in a room while changing colors, brightness and patterns all at the touch
    of a button from our control board.  We have six Trackspot lights and two high power
    strobe lights in our effects array and an assortment of over 40 lighting patterns programmed
    by us.  Each of the patterns consists of all six lights moving and changing color and shape
    across the room to, on average, eight different locations per light before starting over,
    all to the beat of the music. Combine that with our high output fog machine (18,000cu/ft. a min)
    and the show becomes alive and gets people in the mood to dance and celebrate.

Professional Sound
    At Big City Music, we know the importance of using quality gear.  We run only original
    Bose speakers and signal processors, each pair of speakers is driven by a 1000 watt
    Carvin amplifier.  Our Bose 502BP subwoofer is driven by one 2000 watt Carvin amp.
    Quality is the number one feature that we look for when ordering equipment.  When Big
    City Music was in the design and ordering stage of development, we made it a point to
    go with the best mobile equipment that we could get so our clients would get a professional
    show from start to finish.

Reliable Service
   Our DJ's will arrive at your location at least one hour before we are scheduled to start.
   On average, it takes anywhere from 20-40 minutes to setup a show and we always try
   to leave time for testing, talking to our clients, taking care of last minute arrangements or
   anything else that may come up.  We have a wide variety of songs in our library and always
   take requests.  If there is a special song you want at your event, we will be happy to get
   your request as long as we know what it is, prior to the scheduled event.   Clients always 
   have the option of requesting either Derrick or Dave as their lead DJ for the night.
