Big City Music was
founded by Derrick Miller and David Etier in 2002, who also own and operate the
service. After the purchase of the State of Rock DJ Service in 2003, Big City Music
became the premier DJ service for North Dakota, with the largest light show
available. Big City Music is able to offer professional service in both music
and lighting effects to make any event special.

We have over 20 years of combined experience in the Disc Jockey business. We are dedicated to providing your event with the professional
sound and lighting that it deserves. Big City Music is equipped with the best in
mobile audio equipment that BOSE has to offer, and the best mobile intelligent
lighting that High End Systems has to offer. We
take pride in everything we provide for you.
As DJ’s we will do whatever is necessary to get you and your guests
involved in the festivities.
What
you can expect:
As DJ’s, we have
had the pleasure of providing entertainment for a vast array of environments.
We have a wide selection of music available to play anything from Country
Western to the latest Techno Dance mixes. Our DJ’s will arrive at least
one hour before we start to allow time to setup and speak with you. Guests are
always welcome to use our wireless microphone to make speeches, announcements
and dedications. And, as always, song requests are welcome.
